GAIA / EARTH

This is an extraordinary opportunity to dance underneath a seven-metre replica of planet Earth which is suspended from high above and is created by artist Luke Jerram. The globe features detailed imagery of the Earth’s surface, compiled from NASA’s Visible Earth series. The artist says, “I hope visitors to Gaia get to see the Earth as if from space; an incredibly beautiful and precious place. An ecosystem we urgently need to look after - our only home.”

I have created a specially designed theme entitled EARTH with accessible dances which we will learn in The Octagon, St. Peter’s Church before moving into the Cathedral to dance underneath this incredible work of art.

It truly is an extraordinary experience to dance under the earth while stepping lightly on the earth! Come and join me……

We will learn the dances in The Octagon in St. Peter’s Church from Saturday morning until Tuesday morning before moving into the beauty that is St Albans Cathedral to dance this suite for a final time. The days are well spaced out with breaks to feed your bodies having been dancing to feed your soul!
Cost: £265 (This does not include any workshop material that you choose to buy.)

Food: Lunches and evening meals are taken in any of the number of cafes in St Albans at your own expense. I will organise a group meal on the Monday night for those who would like it.
